1. He Pursues God.
- Men can’t lead right if they don’t follow Jesus right.
2. He is a Provider.
- Boys are cared by their mothers. Men provide for themselves. Mature men provide for their families.
3. He is Proactive.
- Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 2:24
4. He is a Pastor of his family.
- He leads his family and wife closer to Jesus.
Genesis 3:9
5. He walks in Purity.
- Remember that the grass is not greener on the other side. Fight to keep the fire within your marriage.
6. He is to be Perceptive.
- If you know what bothers her, don’t do it.
If you know what she likes, do more of it.
7. He is a Protector
- Not bully but builder. Leader, not lord.
8. He is Passionate
- Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. Ephesians 5:25
